The heads of enterprises in Nonggao District and Qitai County exchanged speeches on the recycling and utilization of waste mulch in farmland.

It is understood that since the beginning of this year, Changji Prefecture has earnestly implemented the work deployment of the central government and the autonomous region, adhered to the farmland mulch management as a major political task to fight the "pure land" defense war, and forcefully promoted the implementation of the "ten" measures for farmland mulch management. The promotion of thickened high-strength mulch film of 2.24 million mu, 34GL high-strength mulch film of 180,000 mu, fully biodegradable mulch film of 80,000 mu, and non-film planting crops of 50,000 mu. The recovery rate of residual film in the prefecture is 85.09%, and the utilization rate of residual film resources is above 20%.

The meeting stressed that it is necessary to anchor the target positioning of "model prefecture", attach great importance to farmland mulch work, adhere to one hand to grasp grain and cotton production, the other hand to grasp farmland mulch management, and promote the production and supply of important agricultural products and the control of white pollution to promote each other's sound development; Strengthen supervision and inspection, pay attention to the recycling and management of farmland residual film, and rationally construct the recycling and utilization system of farmland waste mulch film; Focusing on the construction of a full-chain supervision system for mulch production, sales, use, recycling, reuse and harmless disposal, the long-term mechanism for farmland mulch management has been constantly improved, and the standardization, institutionalization and normalization of farmland mulch management has been promoted.
