Meixue Ice City: The usage of sustainable packaging materials will reach 128,800 tons in 2024

On April 23rd, Meixue Ice City Co., Ltd. released the "2024 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). This is the first ESG report released by Meixue Ice City after its listing.

In the practice of promoting sustainable development, Meixue Ice City adheres to the concept of green development, implements energy conservation and carbon reduction measures, standardizes resource management, strengthens the source control of waste, explores sustainable innovation in packaging materials, and contributes to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The report indicates that the use of degradable packaging materials helps end products comply with the sustainable development policies of various countries, win consumer recognition, and promote the globalization of products.

Since 2022, in its local procurement in the Indonesian market, Meixue Ice City has changed the materials of its straws and plastic bags to degradable plastics, effectively reducing the environmental impact of traditional plastics and demonstrating the Group's commitment to sustainable development in its global business layout. In the domestic market, we also continuously pay attention to the research and development and application of environmentally friendly materials, and are committed to making contributions to environmental protection while developing our business.

In 2024, Meixue Ice City used 128,880.16 tons of sustainable packaging materials, including paper cups, CPLA straws, PLA plastic cups and other packaging materials. As of December 31, 2024, the Meixue Ice City store network has over 46,000 stores, covering 11 countries in China and overseas.
