On December 21st, the key research and development project of the National Science and Technology Major Project led by Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, "Green Preparation Key Technology and Application Demonstration of Biodegradable Epidemic Prevention Materials", successfully passed the performance evaluation of the project.This project is one of the topics under the National Key Research and Development Program project "High Safety Active Protection Green Anti-epidemic Materials and Industrial Application Demonstration". Vice President Guo Zifang, as the project leader, made a presentation at the comprehensive performance evaluation meeting. The expert group believed that this topic had fulfilled the research and development requirements of the task and met the assessment indicators, thus successfully passing the acceptance.

This project was led by Beijing Chemical Research Institute, and was jointly carried out by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., Henan Tuohen Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Donghua University and other institutions. The project focused on the national major demand for high-performance green epidemic prevention materials, and carried out innovative research in various aspects such as basic theory, raw material development and preparation technology, industrial demonstration and application. Through technical routes such as melt differential electrostatic forming and melt blowing forming, it overcame the key technologies for the green preparation of biodegradable epidemic prevention materials, broke through the scientific and engineering demonstration technical problems of green epidemic prevention, and achieved large-scale production of efficient and low-resistance degradable filter materials. The project has built a one-million-square-meter-per-year electrostatic forming nonwoven material demonstration line and a one-million-square-meter-per-year degradable permanent-pole melt-blown filter material production demonstration line. The prepared degradable filter materials have been applied in medical protection and other fields. The research of this project has formed a series of technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights, providing solid technical and industrial support for the development of high-end green epidemic prevention materials.
