In the context of the increasing demand for fresh food trade and cold chain logistics, the intelligent cold chain logistics hub project we are planning and constructing is reshaping the regional cold chain logistics landscape through its diverse functions and strategic layout. 

Five functional sections, forming a complete service chain 

The project system planning consists of five core sections, and resources are integrated through an intelligent operation system: 

National Strategic Reserve Area: Strengthen the foundation for ensuring the supply of fresh agricultural products. In the event of emergencies or market fluctuations, ensure adequate reserves of fresh produce, stabilize market supply, prevent significant price fluctuations, and safeguard the "vegetable basket" and "fruit plate" for the people's livelihood. 

Smart Business and Experience Area: Integrating business negotiations and scenario experiences, this area serves as an efficient communication platform for enterprises in the fresh food supply chain. Companies can conduct trade negotiations and sign cooperation agreements here. At the same time, consumers can also personally experience various high-quality fresh food products, opening up new avenues for product promotion and sales. 

Third-party automated cold storage and shared processing area: Offering professional refrigeration and shared processing services. The automated cold storage utilizes advanced refrigeration technology to precisely control temperature and reduce the loss of fresh produce; the shared processing area is equipped with advanced equipment, providing processing services such as cleaning, cutting, and packaging for enterprises, thereby reducing their operational costs. 

Multi-zone storage area: Precisely meets the temperature control requirements of different fresh foods. For products such as vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood, which have different sensitivity to temperature, multiple temperature zones are set up, ranging from refrigeration to freezing, to ensure the quality of fresh foods comprehensively. 

Modernized Trading Zone: Establish an efficient fresh food trading platform, introduce an electronic trading system, enable synchronous trading both online and offline, enhance trading efficiency, break geographical restrictions, and make the trading of fresh products more convenient and transparent. Eventually, it will form an intelligent cold chain logistics hub with an annual reserve capacity of over one million tons and a trading scale of millions of units, covering the entire chain of fresh food storage, processing, and trading. 

Strategic Opportunity: Leveraging Port Facilities to Connect with the International Community 

After the China-Kazakhstan railway is completed in 2027, the project will leverage the advantages of the Baktu Port to focus on the import and export trade of fresh products such as vegetables, fruits, and meat, and provide professional international cold chain logistics services. The full-process temperature control technology ensures that the fresh products remain at an appropriate temperature during cross-border transportation. The intelligent dispatching system adjusts the transportation plan in real time based on the transportation route, traffic conditions, etc., to guarantee the freshness and safety of the transportation, helping to facilitate the "going out" and "bringing in" of fresh products and opening up international cold chain logistics channels. At that time, high-quality Kazakhstani meats will be able to enter the domestic market faster, maintaining their tender texture; and domestic specialty fruits and vegetables will also be able to be delivered fresh to consumers in Central Asian countries. 

Value Empowerment: Dual Enhancement of Efficiency and Safety 

The project reduces logistics losses through intelligent management and enhances the efficiency of fresh food circulation. By applying Internet of Things technology, it can monitor the status of fresh inventory in real time, promptly identify and handle spoiled products; the intelligent sorting system can quickly and accurately classify goods, reducing the time for manual operations. It provides stable and reliable cold chain support for agricultural product processing, import and export trade, etc., ensuring the quality of fresh food throughout the process from source procurement to terminal sales. At the same time, it integrates regional cold chain networks, helping to improve the "production - storage - transportation - sales" system and promoting the large-scale and standardized development of the fresh food industry, safeguarding "freshness on the tongue" for consumers. For example, local agricultural product processing enterprises can utilize advanced facilities at the hub to expand production scale, improve product quality, and promote more high-quality products to domestic and international markets. In the future, this intelligent cold chain hub will become a core node connecting domestic and international fresh food markets, driving the upgrading of cold chain logistics through technological innovation and activating new vitality of the regional economy!
